This is an exciting and innovative arts project helping to promote arts organisations, resources and activities in Alfreton and surrounding areas.
Our aim is quite simple - To bring a range of arts into contact with more people in the Alfreton area than ever before.
By providing facilities, information, increasing opportunities, networking, displaying events information, publishing online and encouraging local people to encompass arts in their daily lives and publish what they do creates a passionate society and a creative local community.
The satisfaction gained when accomplishing arts subjects is immeasurable and the skills learnt help shape confidence, charachter and encourage others to do similiar things. It's a great joy to see that someone else appreciates your poem, enjoys your recipe, likes the painting you framed, listens to your music and claps enthusiastically when you've finished.
The Arts are to be appreciated and most importantly for Alfreton - They need to be accessible. So come on, jump in and join in.
